NEW COURSES IN PALAEOGRAPHY AND MANUSCRIPT STUDIES
The Institute is pleased to announce that it will co-ordinate two new courses on behalf of the School of Advanced Study, University of London, commencing in the 2011-2012 academic year.
Courses are suitable for MA, MRes, MPhil and PhD students and are also open to professional and other participants.
COURSES:
Palaeography and Diplomatic for Historians
Professor Michelle P. Brown and Dr Elizabeth Danbury
This course will not take place in 2012.
Western Historical Scripts from Antiquity to 1600: palaeography, codicology and contextualisation
Professor Michelle P. Brown
Week 2 of the LRBS 2012 (2-6 July 2012). This will be an intensive, accredited course.

COURSE FEES:
The Paleaography and Diplomatic for Historians course costs £550. There is an additional charge of £150 if a course is taken for credit. Assessment is either by supervised coursework or essay (500o words) which must be submitted within two months of the student completing the course.
VENUE:
