Conference Facilities

The Institute of English Studies is able to absorb the cost of any conferences held on the Third Floor of Senate House.  This means that we are able to hold conferences that can accommodate up to 120 delegates within the Institute itself, making use of the comfortable and modern conference room on the third floor.

This room has the latest conferencing facilities with Screen Projectors (for film and powerpoint presentations), screens, blinds, slide projectors, microphones and lighting controls all accessed from the lectern.   Receptions are held in the Common Room on the third floor.

For events attracting audiences of over 120, we can make use of the public rooms in Senate House, the Chancellor's Hall, the Beveridge Hall and the Crush Hall and Gallery.
