Professor David Crystal is one the world's foremost experts on the subject of language. After a long and distinguished academic career, David now travels extensively lecturing on language to audiences throughout the world.
In 1995, David was awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to the English language.
Aside from his interest in language, David
is chairman and co-founder of Crystal Reference, a reference publisher. He is
also a director of the Ucheldre centre in his hometown of Holyhead on the Isle
of Anglesey.
