- The IES is delighted to announce that Professor Sir Brian Vickers and Dr Marcus Dahl have been awarded a three-year grant of £147,000 from the Dean's Development Fund to support Dr Dahl in an academic post (more information...)

- The Institute is delighted to announce the launch of the T. S. Eliot Research Seminar Series.
- The Institute's move to the South Block of Senate House has been completed. The main office can be found in room 239, 2nd Floor South Block. For information of where offices are located please see www.sas.ac.uk/567.html.
- Visitors and IES members please note that there is no longer a refectory at Senate House open to the public, although the coffee bar in the North Block ground floor remains open to all. We regret that the Institute of Historical Research common room is no longer accessible to IES members, but they are most welcome to use the new SAS common room in 349, 3rd Floor South Block.
- Senate House Library English Collection is now in its new home on the 6th Floor, South Block. The Book Studies and Palaeography Collections remain in the Small Hall, North Block.
