Instructions for Searching the Events Database
You may find events on the database either by searching for keywords or by using the drop down menus. The events relevant to your search/selection appear on the bottom half of the screen. Events older than one day are not listed.
Keyword Search:
You may search the events database for relevant keywords or phrases (e.g. "Shakespeare"; "Book Binding"; "Postcolonialism") by entering the text in the above Search box and clicking the Search button.
Drop-down Menu Search:
You may also browse the database for events in broad subject areas, and/or specific subjects and/or chronological periods by choosing relevant categories from the above drop down menus. You can reduce the number of events shown by selecting from the Area and/or Subject and/or Period menus.
NOTE: The choices that appear in the drop down menus are based on details of forthcoming events currently held in the database, and menus therefore change accordingly.
