Ainoa Castro Correa

Ainoa Castro Correa is Lecturer in Manuscript Studies and History of the Church at the University of Salamanca, after having been Marie Curie Research Fellow at King’s College London, Virginia Brown Fellow in Latin Palaeography at the Ohio State University, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Notre Dame and at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies-University of Toronto. She has authored several books and articles and curates a well-known site www.LitteraVisigothica.com, an online research portal on Iberian Manuscript Studies focused on Visigothic script. She has recently been awarded an ERC Starting Grant for the project “The Secret Life of Writing: People, Script and Ideas in the Iberian Peninsula (900-1200).
