Brianne Dolce

Brianne Dolce is the Fitzjames Research Fellow in Music at Merton College, Oxford. 

A musicologist and historian, her interests lie primarily in the interactions between music and religious life, particular that which can be characterized as dissident or non-orthodox, between the eleven and thirteenth centuries. She holds degrees from the University of Michigan, King’s College London, and Yale University, where she completed her PhD in 2020. From 2020-2021, she was a Past & Present Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research in London.
