March 2022 - March 2024

Bárbara Gallego Larrarte specialises in interwar literary studies. She is currently writing a book based on her thesis which aims to reinstate the impact of younger voices in intellectual history.

In 2019 she completed a D.Phil at Wolfson College, Oxford, on intergenerational dynamics in the 1930s, focusing on T. S. Eliot, Virginia Woolf, E. M. Forster and their networks. During her time at the Institute of English Studies, Bárbara will be finishing this manuscript whilst researching her next project on the intersection between pacifism, politics and literature in the years leading up to the Second World War.
