Dr Sarah Pyke

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow for the Toolkit for Inclusion and Diversity in English Studies (TIDE)

Funded by the Convocation Trust, Sarah is researching how the IES community has engaged with 'diversity' and 'inclusion' in their research and teaching, using this to think more broadly about the histories, legacies and possible futures of English as a discipline. Her research aims in part to address the gap between institutional and disciplinary commitments and practices and personal-professional experiences. Sarah collaborates on equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives within the School and also participates in Decolonising the Discipline with our partners, the English Association, the Postcolonial Studies Association, the University of East Anglia and University English.
