The Staff-Student Liaison Committee
The Staff-Student Liaison Committee is an important resource for all IES students. The SSLC meets once a term and provides a forum for students of the Institute to discuss issues affecting the student community with staff. It a space where students can raise problems or concerns in a formal setting. Membership comprises the Director of Studies, the MA prgramme director, the Institute Manager and at least two representatives from the IES student body; one for research students and one for taught postgraduates. The Committee meets as part of the Higher and Research Degrees Committee.
