Fees

The fee for the T. S. Eliot International Summer School will be £600 for the whole week, which includes the provision of documentary materials, sandwich lunches, coffee/tea breaks, poetry readings, organised coach trips and entrance fees to Little Gidding and Burnt Norton. Please note that the £600 fee does not include accommodation (for which you must make your own arrangements/bookings), evening meals, travel around London, or any other expenses you might incur.

The Summer School welcomes partners and spouses to attend the opening night lecture as well as informal afternoon social events and gatherings throughout the week; they may pay a nominal fee to accompany the group to Little Gidding (£70) and Burnt Norton (£70). Attendees should contact the Institute Manager as soon as possible to arrange for payment.

Scholarship Applications

The School is able to offer full or partial scholarships to deserving applicants who cannot afford to attend otherwise. Undergraduate, post-graduate and art practitioners are eligible to apply. Scholarships cover full or partial fees for the entirety of the School, up to the full fee of £600. We are unable to cover the travel and accommodation expenses of bursary recipients.

The online application form contains a section where we ask for details on why you feel you should be considered for a scholarship. You will receive notification from the Institute once allocations have been made as to whether your application has been successful.

Please note that, if you are applying for a scholarship, you do not have to submit payment with your initial application. Payment can be made over the phone after the scholarship results are announced.

If you are applying for a scholarship, on the application form, please select 'bursary' as your payment method. This will prevent you from being asked for payment now.
